WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY

Its midweek and I think this picture is worth sharing with you. Just to keep you relaxed. I actually have it as my wallpaper on my Computer at the office.

Is this not beautiful?

Thank you for saying its beautiful. Please don't miss the coming "weekend special" as I will be writing about something that hangs in our bags, pockets and shirts either at the office, home, school or church etc. Some of us have ours following us wherever we go.

Meet me and let us discuss it and find solutions to it.
Remember, we are correcting ourselves to help draw ourselves closser to God and live a life pleasing and acceptable before Him.
Stay blessed.

GETTING IN TOUCH

Hello all my friends out there including you who always read my blog, yes I mean you. Am only trying to knock at your door as a friend to ask how you are doing today. You are soo special to me and I thank God for your lifes. It's a very bright day here in Ghana even though the sun is a little high in the sky. I know by now, some of you are now about to wake up from bed, others are still asleep whiles others are preparing to go to work or even already at work. How was the weekend?

How is the family, daddy, mummy, the kids, my brothers and sisters out there? I thank God for your lives today. I pray for a fruitful day for you and the peace of God which passeth all understanding be your portion this week. May His blood silence all accusers in our life and may our sins be forgiven today. Amen.

Am also fine by Gods grace but please don't forget to say a word of prayer for me too.
Thanks for allowing me into your homes and offices this morning.

Enjoy the week.

WEEKEND SPECIAL

This edition of our usual weekend special has to be written bit by bit due to the pressure at work throughout the week but thanks be to God for making it a reality. Hope you are all doing well. Anyway, a friend told me he couldn't comment on my last weekend special because he was at fault and was guilty. Anyway am sorry but if you were also. It is never too late to change and give a helping hand to someone who needs it.

Am going to talk today about us "ASPIRING BEFORE WE EXPIRE". Read Ecclesias 3 and I please want you to focus on the verse 2. There is a time to be born and a time to die. We must do something my dear brother, sister, mum and dad before we die. What are we doing to help the Kingdom of God? A time is coming and it shall surely come that we will expire from the surface of this earth. Are we too focussed on the job that only puts dollars and cedis onto your pocket relegating Gods work to the ground? What are we doing with what God has given us? The knowledge, wealth etc. A time is coming when I may not be able to write new post and a time is coming when you may not be able to read or comment on my post because you may either be dead or I may be dead by then.

Get up and do something. The second hand of the wall clock in your room is still moving. It never stops and that should tell you time will never wait for you. Do something, take up the challenge before you leave because it will be a disappointment if God reveals to us one day the energy, talents and blessings etc given to us that we did nothing with. A poor boy is waiting for your help, your family, friends etc. Do something and leave a smile on their faces before you expire.
Pray to God to reveal to you what He expects from you whiles you are alive.

God bless you and have a blessed weekend.

A HYMN BLOG

I just feel like singing and would be very happy if you help me sing. It is a hymn we used to sing during children service but the words are for us all. This is all we need to do. I pray you find encouragement in the words of this hymn.

Stanza 1:

When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Refrain:

Trust and obey, for there's no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Stanza 2:

Not a burden we bear,
Not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss,
Not a frown or a cross,
But is blest if we trust and obey.

(Refrain)

Stanza 3:

But we never can prove
The delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows,
For the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.

(Refrain)

Stanza 4:

Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at His feet,
Or we'll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do,
Where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.

(Refrain)

WEEKEND SPECIAL

By now, you may either be in bed, on break at the office or searching through your mail or your blogs. Am also in Ghana trying to make the best I can.

Anyway, I know most of us are at fault with regards to what am about to say. Am talking this time about giving or sharing. I know you give your tithes at church etc but am talking about practical giving. Some of us just feel reluctant to share. God has blessed you. You now have a van, a salon car etc. On sundays, you sit in this car alone to church. When you meet your fellow church members on the way walking, all you do is to blow your horn or whatever and wave instead of picking him or her.

Have you ever seen other children wearing the same school uniform as your children standing or walking by the road side whiles you drove your kids, sisters or brothers to school? Did you stop to pick them up? Do you know who offered your kids, sisters or brothers water or even pen to write when they needed one after you have "dumped" them in school? Probably its the same kids you refussed picking up on the road.

People drive their cars alone to work and refuse helping those standing by the road side going in the same direction. Its nice to offer a helping hand anytime you can.

Let me tell you a secret about giving or sharing. Imagine giving one dollar each to ten people who are in need. You spend ten dollars. The next week, you needed five dollars urgently and these ten people you helped in appreciation came around offering two dollars each. Its not about the profit aspect but the abundance. More than what you needed. Hence the saying "the more you give, the more you receive"

God has only one son but He gave Him for us. Abraham was ready to sacrifice his only son and now look at his decendants. Its not about giving big for everyone to see but the little ones. You have friends at work, school etc who need motivation, inspiration etc. You know of this blog site as a source of inspiration and motivation but you have never shared it with them and always read it alone. Please share, give and be a blessing unto others. You will not loose anything.

Am going to miss reading your comments but wishing you all the best this weekend. stay blessed and never forget to be a blessing to someone.

GETTING IN TOUCH

God works in ways we do not understand. His ways are not our ways and how we think is certainly not the way God thinks about issues so be rest assured, your impossibility may be His possibility. There is hope my friend.

Catch me tomorrow as I intend serving you with another interesting and motivating piece in my new WEEKEND SPECIAL post that comes to you this and every friday for the weekend.

Before then, STAY BLESSED, BE GOOD, PRAY FOR ME AS I ALSO PRAY FOR YOU AND ALL MY READERS AND TAKE CARE. GOD BLESS YOU.

A BITTER PILL TO SWALLOW

Football is a game I love watching but sometimes it presents to you a pill that is bitter to swallow especially when your team looses. I remember watching the second leg of the match between chelsea and Inter millan at the stamford bridge. It got to a time I started praying in my seat that chelsea should just score a goal but it turned out to be chelsea being scored a goal.

Let us come to real life situations. Sometimes, we want things to go our way. We wish we had good things. One thing I asked my self was is there no God in Italy? Don't they pray in Italy too? Why then should God listen to me alone? That is life. God is fair and tells us to give thanks to Him in all things whether good or bad. We find it easy to give Him thanks when thing go right for us but when things go wrong we find it difficult.
I understand it sometimes. Its a human feeling. Imagine saying thank you God when you loose your only child, ejected from your home or you loose your job. Someone somewhere may even think you intentionally killed your child and say you are going out of your mind but I tell you it is the right thing to do.

We need to thank God in all things. Sometimes its for good that things went bad and because we don't understand it we say all sort of things leading to us missing the blessings accompanying those difficult times. All you need to say is THANK YOU GOD and things will change. Sometimes, God just want to see how grateful we are in difficult times and most of us fail this simple test.

Would you have found it easy saying thank you God if you were in Haiti and you lost all your belongings after the earthquake?

BIRTHDAY SPECIAL

It was in the early hours of sunday dawn, on the 15th of March 198... It was around 1am I remember very well my mom said as she tells me something about my birth. As I grew up, I used to cry always especially when she wanted to have some sleep and according to her I loved food. Just funny isn't it? Anyway, today am fully grown but not very old. Am just in my early twenties. Yes don't be supprised and you heard me right and if you keep imagining whether am a male or female, am a male.

With all these, little did I know I will grow up to live to see this day. Some of those I shared the same birthday with around the world are dead but am alive to see this day. God has been so faithful to me. He has blessed me. Little did I know I will make it today but am blessed to be counted among the living. So are you. God has a purpose for you. People are eating the so called balanced diet and they are dying. They are attending the best hospitals and having personal doctors yet they are dying everyday.
We don't eat the best meal or attend the best hospitals but we are living. It is by Grace and this grace has always been sufficient everyday to keep us going.

Never shall we die, we were created for a purpose and until that purpose is achieved never shall we be wiped away from the surface of this earth. We serve a living God.

This is my little encouragement for you as I celebrate my biythday today. God bless you all and thanks a lot for reading my post always.

WEEKEND SPECIAL

Another great weekend standing by. This weekend is a special one for me because it ushers me into monday the 15th of March which is my birthday. Don't be amazed because you heard me right, my birthday and am very happy.

Anyway, for this weekend, I want you to know that you are very special and unique. It's sad sometimes when we look down on ourselves and feel somebody else is better off or more blessed than we are. I tell you today, you are unique and better off. You are special and capable of doing better that the one you are comparing yourself with.

You were created in the image of God and I tell you, your God is a God of capabilities. He is capable. The Bible tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made so never compare yourself to anyone. You don't know the problems the one you are comparing yourself to is having and hiding from you.

Dip your thumb into an ink and do a quick thumbprint on a plane sheet. Compare yours to those around you and even your family. Have you seen that it is different? So how and why should you compare yourself and feel little and poor in your own eyes?

Get up, chear up and be positive about yourself and your abilities. You are better off and you can make it.

Enjoy the weekend.

HOW PREPARED ARE WE?

So beautiful, isn't it? Sometimes, seeing things like this puts fear into us and at other times joy.

God bless us all and have mercy on us. Amen!!!!!!

KNOW YOUR WORTH

I was trying to compare the life of the christian today to some of the declarations in the Bible. It actually got to a time I couldn't help but burst out with laughter and I think its worth sharing it with you.

In DEUTERONOMY CHAPTER 28:13, all that was required of us was to keep the commandments of God and we shall never be the tail or beneath but shall always be the head and above. What do we see today? Are you first in all the competitions you enter into? Do people treat you first? Do you always feel you are second to someone?

Have you prayerfuly read LUKE 12:22 - 30? If no, please read now because you are missing something. We are told not to think of what we will eat or wear but I see and hear christians praying for food and other things already provided.

Why do we always go about following miracles when miracles are rather to follow us only when we believe? Sometimes it is interesting when you visit prayer camps. Read MARK 16:17-20.

Why are we still strugling with the mountains in our lives? We are to speak to the mountain and it will move but do they really move? The mountain in your life may be your problems or difficulties etc. What do you think is left? Read MATTHEW 17:20 if your mountain is not moving.

Lastly, we are being asked to let our light shine before men so that in the end, God will be glorified. Simple but what do we see today? Man takes all the glory to himself anytime he does something for his/her neighbour. Instead of us to say God is wonderful and good, we sometimes hear people say "the pastor is good, the pastor has done well, the pastor has healed me etc" Read MATTHEW 5:16.

Am I telling the truth here? Which part of your life needs correction with respect to these?

By the time you finish reading,I hope to be back.
Have a blessed day.

WONDERFUL LESSONS FROM JOB - PART TWO

This is the concluding part of our lessons from the book of Job. The first part was a blessing unto me and I believe you were blessed too. Now, as a woman what do you say to your husband in times of difficulties? Do you say words of motivation or your words are full of pain? Look at the wife of Job. When things were going on well with all those riches, she never cursed God or adviced her husband to curse God. Of what quality are you my dear woman? How useful are you to your husband and how seasoned are the words that come out from your mouth? How did Job descride how his wife was speaking as in the chapter 2 versus 10 and I want to ask how your husband, friend or whoever you are in a relationship with describe your speach?
A quick look at the chapter one again versus 22, we learn that in all the calamities and troubles, Job never sinned nor charged God foolishly. It is quite supprising how we are quick to blame even God on the little thing that goes wrong in our life. When you read on, you realize that instead of Job cursing God, he cursed the day he was born. God knows us all. He knows our weakness and our strenghts. Some of the troubles we go through in life may rightly come from the devil anyway but the devil sought for permision from God. Don't let God down by turning away from Him in hard times. He loves us and will keep us. Also, let us be wifes and friends of substance. We should not only expect good things and blessings from God. God will never give us loads we cannot carry and trust Him to always give us a helping hand in life. You will be amazed at your reward.

Have a nice day and stay blessed.
